"Hot, Hot, Hot. No AC, room view was of the LEV from the kitchen. Spirts bar was noisy with staff do distant they might as well of been serving from Mats"

"A lovely little pub ideally situated for walkers, cyclists and horse riders but breakfast is not served until 9am although it is advertised in the room as 8 to 10am. As like us most people holidaying for this reason want to be up early and out. We had a room for three adults but the hospitality tray was set for two people and as the room was not cleaned or beds made during our stay we only had one t bag left for the second morning."

"Friendly helpful staff. But the bedroom was insufferably hot (admittedly during heatwave) even with a fan. Breakfast was ok but lacked fresh fruit with only overripe bananas. Dining room window we sat next to was very dirty - cobwebs and dead bugs aplenty. Overall, great staff but otherwise a lot of room for improvement."

"There were build works outside by terrace overlooking lake with cement mixer and angle grinder cutting stone most of the day the Saturday I was there . Not the best idea with patrons sitting there by temporary plastic tape eating and drinking . Perhaps a fencing of sorts to obscure the works ?"

"Friendly staff, outdoor area to eat which was handy with the recent hot weather . We had breakfast which had a good selection of English breakfast items. Happy with our stay for the price we payed and free parking which is always a bonus and friendly staff."
