"This is the second time we have stayed here, in two months. Once again, we cannot praise the whole experience any higher than absolutely excellent. The location for all amenities, the staff for their help in making our stay wonderful. The hotel itself, including the rooms, are to the highest standard and cleanliness. The food is also excellent, lovely choice of breakfasts."

"A good looking Hotel from the outside, the food in the restaurant smelled great as you climb the steps to the door. (There is a disabled lift around the side somewhere) Self check in with help available, parking fee arranged at this point, I had missed this on the website, it was £7.50 a night, not over the top but a surprise for me. "Beds rock hard. Not a single USB socket. A free can of Diet Coke though…….in a premium room? Nice enough staff, facilities were poor. Won’t go back."

"Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, fresh fruit, cereals, and a hot cooked breakfast. The only negative, we had to pay for parking, we booked on Expedia and it was advertised as parking available, no mention of having to pay. We will use this hotel again but will book directly through the hotel website. ( cheaper too )"

"We felt a bit deceived by the pictures and health suite which you it turns out you have to extra for. The health suite is the best part. The grounds are also very nice. However, we paid a lot of money for a room that was next to an outside staff area. There was lots of smoking and swearing at inconsiderate times when we were asleep very early morning."

"We didn't take up our booking because we were advised by our friends and relatives (one is a member of the local constabulary) who live locally that the hotel is filthy, poorly managed and used more as a hostel for undesirables. We were advised not to stay there, consequently we didn't even see the establishment so cannot confirm whether that is the case."

"Great location near public transport. Friendly/helpful staff. My only problem was the bath was quite deep and hard to get in/out of for showering; an age thing but something that others need to be aware of. Other than that niggle, would not hesitate to return."
