Best Western Courtview Hotel
8/10 Good
"We have stayed at this location 3 times now and this time was good but we did see a cockroach dead in our bathroom which concerned me and made me uneasy about staying there but it was graduation weekend and another hotel room would be hard to get on short notice. There were some broken windows blinds in what I assumed to be a managers personal room which doesn't reflect a good image on the company and employees. As I looked around I could see a lot of quick short cuts to upgrades like leaving open holes around plumbing and quick foam insulation around air units in rooms that could have been covered up somehow. The lighting in the room overall was not great either.
Overall the hotel was good for a quick weekend for an event but due to the roach I saw I will not be back."

Vīb Best Western Springfield
8/10 Good
"This hotel is clean, affordable & close to the MSU campus. The rooms are quite small & it can get pretty cozy with more than one person in the room. The beds are comfortable & the towels are nice. We stayed 2 nights and there was no housekeeping to freshen the room & bath supplies or empty the trash. The continental breakfast was pretty good and there was plenty of seating in the lobby area to visit with others in our party. The walls are pretty thin, but it's not a problem if your neighbors are not loud. Overall, for the price, it's a pretty good option."

University Plaza Hotel and Convention Center Springfield
8/10 Good
"This hotel is at a great location for visiting the college campus. The lobby is spacious and is a great gathering spot. Our room was acceptable, but could use some upgrades. The electrical outlets were loose and the bathroom faucet was very tight to turn on. The shower was ok. The coffee shop was nice. No breakfast included. The price was high with no included breakfast, but the convenient location was worth a lot."

Bass Pro Shops Angler's Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"All aspects of the Bass Anglers Lodge were just as we expected. Friendly staff, spotless room, great breakfast and comfy bed! Couldn't ask for more. We will definitely stay again when we are back in the Springfield area!"

Hotel Vandivort
10/10 Excellent
"Everyone was very nice and helpful, nice location"

Days Inn by Wyndham Battlefield Rd/Hwy 65
6/10 Okay
"We originally intended to stay one night, but ended up extending out stay. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful.
It is an older hotel and the carpeting was somewhat worn, but appeared to be clean - as did the premises. I believe that would be an overall statement for the entire facility: worn, but clean. And the bed was comfortable, it seems like most places these days use concrete slabs for mattresses.
It's pet friendly and the pet fee is reasonable.
We didn't eat the breakfast so I can't rate that.
Overall, the place isn't somewhere I'd want to stay for a prolonged time, but for a night or two, it is a clean place at a decent price."

Best Western Coach House
6/10 Okay
"When choosing this motel, remember it is a motel that have all the “nuances” of local a motel. While there, someone was smoking “medicinal” drugs, there was an argument outside my door. I enjoyed the entertainment at 12:00pm at night, just not at my hotel ."

Baymont by Wyndham Springfield I-44
6/10 Okay
"The breakfast was good…but just like any other continental breakfast.
They will tell you that it is a “full breakfast buffet,” and they guard it like it’s Fort Knox. However, the potatoes were meh, the eggs were powdered, and the rest of it was just your standard pancake/bagel/cereal and yogurt fair.
So not a bad breakfast, but definitely not anything special.
Beds were pretty good. We have a large family, so we had to double room rooms.
Two of the beds were amazing.
One of the beds was a little more worn out.
And one of the beds dipped in the middle.
But I have been on MUCH worse beds at a hotel than these. I liked them!"

Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Springfield on I-44
2/10 Terrible
"Dirty, run down, bed was crooked. Someone in adjacent room left a dog in their room to wine, scratch and bark for hours. Not the hotels fault but they did nothing to help the situation. Leave your pets at home where they feel safe. Breakfast was laughable. Coffe was full or grounds. Juice machine didn't work."
