This historic inn has good bones, but could really use an update - painting, new furniture, some wall outlets for phone charging, etc. Hotel staff seemed a bit unpolished and there was inconsistency re: covid rules. Signs posted say masks were required, but this was not universally followed. Dinner at the restaurant was outstanding!

The Inn is very unique and in a peaceful residential setting, yet just a few minutes off of Route 95 and close to the Greenwich shopping area. Best yet, the Inn's restaurant provided, in my view, a 5-Star service and food. A must go.

Couples Weekend

Quaint hotel on a beautiful property close to downtown Greenwich. It is worth it to stay here just for the dinner and breakfast. Both were amazing and this place was well worth the money.

Homestead Inn was a dream. We only stayed over night on a road trip, but the room was amazing. Bed was comfortable, shower was delightful and location was perfect and quiet. I would recommend it to any traveler.

Lovely gem in Greenwich

We stayed here for a single night during a road trip to Cape Cod. We checked in a bit late, but we were met at the front door and promptly checked in and shown to our room. The hotel was just a short jaunt from the I-95 so we didn't have to go far out of our way, but it was completely silent and dark so we got a perfect night sleep. The grounds feel like a destination onto themselves, so we had a nice little walk the next morning after a lovely breakfast with fantastic service in an elegant dining area surrounded by lush gardens. I almost forget places like this still exist. I hope to be back again soon.

This is a lovely and gracious inn with old world style. The staff was lovely and the food is divine. The rooms are each unique and plush, like staying at your friend’s mansion. This hotel does not have services other than an excellent restaurant for dinner and room service breakfast.

A beautiful place

Lovely property with great location. Staff could not have been better or more accommodating. Very clean, beautifully decorated room. The parking lot has a free electrical car chargers! So cool!!! The restaurant was amazing! Sweetbread, foie gras trio and lobster tringles are to die for! Thank you for wonderful stay!!!

It is a lovely place and the staff was very welcoming and gracious. However, I had to change rooms because the cable wasn’t working (apparently not all rooms get the same channels but this room didn’t even get CNN, strange). The second room needed some TLC in that the shower drain wasn’t working (they fixed it) and the on/off switch on the sconce light next to the bed was broken. They said they were going to fix it but never did before I left. Also, I ate at the restaurant and was not terribly impressed. The lettuce on my salad was wilted and the food was just ok. For the prices they charge, everything should be excellent. They need to pay closer attention to the little things.

The Homestead Inn is beautiful and all, but what made my stay such a fun adventure was the considerate and helpful staff. They are attentive, interesting, happy people. I had a great time traveling alone, and my left-at-home husband was envious when I showed him pictures of my room and the beautiful gardens. It was a real treat to stay at such a gorgeous and friendly hotel. I plan to stay there again!

Have stayed here before property is very nice but this time upgraded room to deluxe luxury suite with outdoor sitting area as advertised and room was not. When I questioned them they said all rooms where taken and what they put us in was a Lucy deluxe suite without outdoor area. Front desk rude. Restaurant is amazing and bartender is great. RUDE front desk
