"Great spot, heated pool, mini campfires in the evening. Do pack warm clothes, as it is cold in the morning and at night. The hotel has shuttle buggy to take you up and down the ridge to the cafes with views of Batur & the lake. Staff really lovely and helpful."

"Always an amazing experience at this hotel. Spacious rooms, extremely helpful staff. Great food. And of course the elephant experiences. The hotel had to react to the government disallowing elephant rides, and they added several new experiences. A few things such as the light switches, AC control etc. are a bit aged by now, but that doesn't take away from the overall top rating."

"We very much enjoyed our stay at Puri Gangga Resort in Ubud! Eventhough it is not far from shops, it is luxury hidden in the hills with beautiful views of tropical forest. We very much liked the way they had decorated the hotel with quality buildings, ancient statues, fountains and antique furniture. We loved the food. We had amazing breakfast and dinners. They even cooked the tenderloins correctly. We had a number of very effective, professional massages. My long term foot injury finally started improving!"

The most beautiful pool in Ubud . Gorgeous property, amazing staff, great restaurants and food options, nightly entertainment. Just amazing."

"Beautiful, spacious and clean hotel with direct access to the beach. Lovely sunrise view from the pool and restaurant area. Hotel is designed for divers and non-divers alike. For divers, there is an excellent in-house dive center and staff. Nitrox was not available during my stay unfortunately. For snorkelers, there is decent snorkeling nearby at the Drop Off dive site. Restaurant serves delicious meals with fresh ingredients and lovely presentations. Highly recommended this hotel. Would stay here again."

"My wife and I and my wife's sister stayed in one of the 2-BR villas at Dusun Bedugul Asri in September 2025. We were very satisfied with our stay there. We went to the area because we wanted to see the Bali Botanical Garden, which is nearby. It was a bit too far to walk, but the hotel quickly arranged a good driver for us. The grounds of the hotel are beautifully landscaped. It's actually like a miniature botanical garden. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the restaurant food was excellent."
