Clean & Fair

Friendly check-in, clean room, very quiet, ok beds & pillows, foxtel etc ok. No wifi in room at rear of property. No room service or food or shops close by, but not too far to supermarket & main street. Noisy aircon unit needs replacing. Bathroom door needs fixing. Basic & fair value.

It was ok, sort of clean but very worn, items were broken, needs maintenance in a lot of ways, service needs up grating, its not a room which was advertised and I thought I would get, someone needs to learn how to "make a bed"....

A line far from A grade

I'm not accustomed to giving poor reviews, preferring to focus on positives rather than negatives, but I have to say I was very disappointed with this motel. I didn't have high expectations as my choice was governed by the photo provided and guest reviews but neither adequately prepared me for the reality. The alarm bells should have rung when we arrived to a pot holed red earth driveway not the most welcoming of sights and, as it transpired, indicative of the general quality. Reception were friendly and helpful but it was clear this is a family run establishment and poorly staffed. The room was tiny and darkly furnished adding to a claustrophobic feel, but in fairness it was clean and the bathroom was reasonably up to date. The bathroom was accessed by a poorly fitted sliding door that provided little privacy. The same amateur handywork applied to the front door that had a gap beneath it that couldn't possibly provide insulation from the extreme heat or cold, not to mention the creepy crawlies. If you're not fussed about where you lay your head so long as it's clean and price is your overwhelming criteria then A Line may well suit but I'm sure you could do whole lot better at the same price point or maybe for a few dollars more. I should have been more diligent in my research

Exceptional friendly staff

The hosts are very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area which is what you want. The rooms are lovely looks like they have been recently renovated. They even supply a bucket and brush so you can clean the windscreen of your car. How thoughtful! The location is convenient with lots of shops around you. It is on a busy road but once inside with the door shut you can't hear any traffic noise. Great value with breakfast included.

needs so much work old clunker air-con no temp control turned it off as so load and just used electric blanket had to turn tap of to toilet as problem with water had to place towel behind bedhead to stop banging on wall everyone you turned over it wasn't expensive but expected a bit better
