"Nice hotel with comfortable rooms. Great buffet style breakfast and friendly staff. It is located right on the main square so wonderful for seeing the sights and restaurants. Only downside is parking is at a municipal multi story car park outside the old city with a discount. Shuttle buses run from outside hotel and hotel did provide full instructions pre arrival. This restriction applies to all hotels in the old town. Otherwise a great stay, "

"Overall, this property is okay, not the 4 stars though. Our room and shower cabin were tiny even for European standards. The shower door seal was broken with a lot of water leaking on the bathroom floor even with the door shut. Hotel’s location is good, near Trieste and accessible to a freeway to the beautiful areas of Slovenia and Croatia. Breakfast was plentiful to our taste. No swimming pool. Free parking with a sufficient number of stalls. Interesting fact that the elevator is turned off between 10pm and 7am. Not a big deal if you are capable of using stairs but would be a challenge for some folks. "
