"First, I want to commend the staff for friendly service. It is clear this hotel is locally owned and operated. I felt safe and cared for as a solo female traveler.
I did not partake in the breakfast but it looked good and included a lot of items for a small hotel.
The room was clean and comfortable.
A highlight I want to include: I left a raincoat in the closet upon discharge. I called right away and they made a plan for mailing it to me, no problem at all. I would highly recommend this hotel...

"The outdoor seating area was marvelous. They were hosting 2-3 large events, the parking lots were overflowing in front but there was disabled parking close enough at a back door. Despite the large parties it was quiet and nice. The parties were held on the opposite side of the hotel. I was impressed. "

"Nice, clean, quiet hotel. Friendly staff. Easy free parking. Conveniently located off a main road. Breakfast available in the morning. Okay choices. Close to the University of Northern Iowa. My go to choice when staying in Cedar Falls.

"The staff checking in was great, the room looked like it needed to be swept and mopped, the AC in the living area did not get cool, it was hot as heck in that room, the freezer worked but the refrigerator did not get cold. The keurig did not shut off until the water was empty and overflowed the cup. The staff the following morning , she was very unprofessional, rude and snappy towards my children. "
"This is a delightfully charming hotel, with lovely old wood flooring in the halls. Be forewarned that there is no elevator if you have difficulty navigating one flight of stairs."
