"The room was awful and very dirty. The carpet was dingy, stain, you can see cuts of improvement. The windows, behind headboard was dirty, dusty and hair, toilet area was very nasty, phone next to toilet had stains and the room was 14 cel was very cold. They couldn’t fix the temperature. This Manila Hotel is overrated and overpriced because it’s historic."
"Everybody was so nice and the place was so clean. I travel mostly all over in the United States because of my job and I travel overseas a few times a year. So I stay in about 30-40 hotels a year ranging from budget hotels to higher end places. This hotel had the service and cleanliness of a 5 star hotel at a very reasonable price. Can't say enough about the staff. And I really enjoyed the area as well. A plethora of eating and shopping options all within a 2 block area. Again everyone was so friendly and personable. Hope I get a chance to come back again some day."
