"Staff on check in were helpful some of the restaurant staff not so much when asked if we could have more milk pots for tea and a toilet roll for room it was forgotten. On check in car park was full it’s not very big! Hotel also holds wedding receptions so it can get quite noisy up to midnight!"

"Overall a lovely spot to stay, travelling on business. Gym is super small and they could do more with the space they have by stripping out some of the bulky treadmills etc and just putting in some weights / kbs / mats. Also my single bed wasn’t amazingly comfy. But would I stay again. Yes, 100%. Staff are great (reception were super helpful as I’d actually booked the wrong night!), breakfast was lovely and the setting / story is gorgeous. Pub next door was decent for dinner. Recommend."

"The floor our rooms were on had been treated with some sort of chemical. A solvent aroma was very noticeable. When we complained we were told we couldn’t be moved but were free to leave. No safety data was available for the chemicals used so no exposure limits had been considered. Very poor practice."
