"Overall, our stay at Hard Rock Hotel Malta was excellent, and almost everything was perfect. However, the experience was seriously let down by the night-shift staff, whose attitude and lack of professionalism were extremely disappointing. On our first night, when we arrived at our booked room, we were told that we were being upgraded. In reality, we were given a room with a very poor view at the back of the building, overlooking construction work, with practically nothing pleasant to look at. The following day, we spoke with the daytime manager, who was professional and helpful and moved us to a fantastic room overlooking the pools and the city. This made a huge difference and showed us what the hotel was actually capable of offering. Unfortunately, our experience with the night shift was consistently poor. On another night, I tried to order late-night snacks and beverages, only to be told that wine was not available and that several kitchen items were unavailable as well. When I asked for a simple modification to a sandwich, I was told that they would not make any changes and that their only job was to heat up the products. The attitude was unhelpful, dismissive, and completely inconsistent with the standards expected from a hotel of this level. The most disappointing part was that this was not an isolated incident involving one employee. We encountered three members of the night-shift team, including two reception staff members and the night manager,"

"Good sized room and balcony. Unfortunately poor view from our balcony as courtyard and adjoining properties don't look great. Some equipment like gym equipment, sauna bench and our bathroom sink were in need of attention. Room temperature was fine for first days but on 2nd last night of our stay they centrally changed the setting so was too hot in our room and knew wouldn't sleep well. I complained but reception said they could not change the temperature until the next day which was not acceptable. The temperature setting was adjusted the next day but had not response from manager despite being told I would receive an explanation / apology. Breakfast was good with choice of cold and hot options. I would recommend Grands Suites but be aware surrounding area and views from room balcony may be poor although rooftop terrace has a stunning view."

"Super séjour et super emplacement! J’ai été capable de ne faire servir en français, c’est une très belle attention. La vue de la terrasse est merveilleuse. Le petit déjeuner excellent (arrivez tôt le matin ). J’ai tout aimé."

"Breakfast was good, enough choice and hot. Need bigger cups for tea though. Rooms are reasonable once you get the right fit for you! we changed ours on arrival as 1st one offered was dated and shabby with no view, we were shown 3 rooms and settled for the 3rd, but still a bit shabby. Pool terrace is small and beds cramped together giving very little space. Small rooftop pool but adequate to cool down and very clean. The area is a great location to get everywhere but the streets are run down. All in all, even with the disgruntle, I would return!"
