Every single member of staff went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. Special mention to the Reception Team and the Spa therapists. Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was plentiful with plenty of choice. Position was amazing literally overlooking the beach with just a short walk, and in a quiet area but with easy access into all areas of the city by very affordable taxis. So so very happy with my stay at the Paddington.

The most beautiful, well finished hotel we have ever stayed in. The room was a great size, staff so pleasant and helpful and the amenities top class. Would recommend this hotel to anyone. The views here Ha Long Bay are an added bonus and the hotel ensure the beach area is kept pristine and clean. 10/10

Amazing gym, ocean view

We stayed for 2 days and 1 night in March 2026 and had a truly memorable experience. The cruise felt refined, well-organised and very comfortable, with beautiful views throughout the journey. The cabin was elegant and spacious, the food was very good, and the service was attentive without being intrusive. The crew made everything feel smooth and effortless, which allowed us to simply relax and enjoy the scenery. A premium and well-executed way to experience Ha Long Bay. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic stay onboard Genesis regal cruise. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too.much trouble. The food was delicious and plentiful. The activities were well run and always on time. You could choose to do everything on offer, or skip those you were not so interested in. Whenever you returned back to the ship from an activity, staff were there to welcome you back on board and hand you a refreshing drink. I really cannot fault it in any way and would love to return...

Lovely hotel with great views from the premium rooms. Only downside is that the outside pool is shut.

Excellent upmarket hotel, modern and sleek equipped with good amenities, located on top of steep road making it not ideal to walk around though, well presented reception staff but somewhat disorganised at the check-in hence in need of some improvement, all amenities very good, breakfast is a delightful buffet serving wide ranging menus appealing to every palate. 3 day 2 night Halong bay cruise. Boat was amazing much like a super yacht. Crew and tour staff were fantastic, all very professional, polite, friendly and always wanting to make sure we were having a great time. Food excellent, entertainment, memorable. A full itinerary of trips and things to do. The time flew by. 100% recommend L’amour cruise. Definitely 2 nights if you can afford it.

Decided to travel down from Hanoi to experience Ha Long Bay and couldn't have found a better place to stay. Your first welcomed at the reception on the mainland, in a few moments taken by boat over to the hotel island, then whisked up to the entrance by buggy... all feels quite special. The hotel is spacious, luxurious, large rooms, good layoutl.. have nothing but good things to say about this hotel really. It seems strangely quite quiet, but a nice change to the usual, I'm sure it won't stay...
