Great location and balcony view! I walked the area for 3-4 hours and felt safe. The room was good sized and looks like it was a 5-star hotel at one time. There is heavy mold on the curtain in the shower, but it is humid. The huge down side was checking out. It must have been the owner or manager that sat there staring as you check out, then walks out behind you, maybe to see if you left the property, then went back inside. Just my perception.

This looks like a fairly new hotel. The location is Excellent, near restaurants, mall, cafes, & shops. From the room, the one we got, we could see the impressive Ha Long Bay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone that want to stay in Ha Long Bay. I will stay here again when I visit Ha Long Bay in the future.

Reserved 2 rooms. Room 606 was FULL of cockroaches. I squished at least 12 and then stopped counting. Photos online make it look clean and tidy, but in reality it's dingy and mouldy and full of bugs. Couldn't leave your toiletries in the bathroom at all. We were scared to eat there because of the bugs, so I have no idea what the breakfast or rooftop bar might be like. There was a mildewy odor. The safes in BOTH rooms were broken- no batteries to run them so zero security for passports etc. The minifridges smelled of fish. My son wore socks in the room and bottoms were filthy within minutes. The floors are warped and feel weird to walk on. They give you 1 keycard... and the room # is handwritten on it, so they don't rekey the cards very often if ever. Get the feeling that they have a problem with people stealing things from the rooms. Very little within walking distance to eat at too, and the "gardens" across the roundabout are poorly kept. All in all, I'd never suggest anyone stay in this area.

Resepsjonen var fleksibel, vi ankom 12:00. Fikk rom selv om innsjekk ikke var før 14:00. Frokosten var grei, det virket som det bare var oss på hotellet. Så det var ingen frokost buffé, men de hadde to retter man kunne velge mellom.
