"Our second time at the Bay Leaf on our trip to the Andaman Islands.
We found the BL to be a modern well run hotel and a good central location.
We stayed in two types of rooms we found both to be of a good standard.
Eg: comfortable beds, clean well maintained bathrooms and good AC/Fans.
The rooftop restaurant /Bar is a nice place to eat dinner or enjoy a cocktail overlooking Port Blair, once again we found the level of service excellent.
Probably the best accommodation we have found on this...
"I found Supreme Palace to be all I needed while spending a week in Port Blair. The staff were extremely polite and respectful. Nothing that I asked for was refused and they were concerned about my plans for daytime activities. The hotel though not near the centre is not too far away that you can’t walk to the bazaar. Transportation can be accommodated if you either want to talk tours or drive yourself by car or motor scooter. "

the welcom by itc, this property is very well Located and the ocean view from our room made it Look more beautiful, one gets the ocean in the background from swimming pool too.. so rooms were nice, breakfast area was rather smaller for its reputation, but no complaints.. staff and their service is...
"The reception guest attendent and owner were very helpful and guided a lot to make the whole experience of Andaman good. The rooms were clean and good after being upgraded. One of the good hotels to stay at Andaman looking for cheap and best options. Food quality was also best and cost effective with outside rates. A big thumbs up for the same. "
"What we did not like was that the hotel looked good on the expedia website but the reality was very different. The entrance was very depressing and at night was not lit at all. You needed a torch to find your way. Room was big but was not very clean. We even had an additional guest. A cockroach! The hotel is overpriced for what it provides."

Upon arrival, the hotel denied our stay, claiming they had no record of our reservation, despite me showing them confirmation of booking and invoice. Turns out, Sakthi Holidays Inn had lost its license to accommodate foreign guests due to immigration...
"Very old rundown building, can't call it hotel. There is construction going on and workers everywhere, clothes hanging. Layout does'nt look like hotel. Room is very dirty, congested and uncomfortable. AC and hot water not working. Overall filthy place, not a hotel."
