"Clean rooms, friendly staff"

"I made a reservation well in advance. When we arrived to check in, the room I booked was not available due to a maintenance issue. I was not advised of this ahead of time. My booking price was reduced by the amount difference of the room only. I was very disappointed, and I was not compensated for my inconvieniece."

"Incredible stay at the Sands on Golden Lake. We arrived by snowmobile, and Zach checked us in, gave us the keys to our chalet, and also made us takeout. He even delivered the food to us! The chalet was perfect, looked to be newly renovated and had everything we needed. We departed by snowmobile in the morning and there was a grab and go type of breakfast for us. Perfect! "Hello, It was a very nice stay. The owners contacted us ahead, directions were clear and the place is easy to find. The house is unique and the owners very friendly and welcoming. It’s very clean and comfortable. It was close to Bancroft and the Tall Pines rally race, so very convenient for us. We recommend this place and we will come back next year! Thank you"

"Staff was very nice but ceilings are poorly insulated for sound, you can hear conversations upstairs. Staff started cleaning room upstairs at 9am on a Sunday which was very loud and we felt was too early. Also no comforter or duvet on the bed - or in the room as an option - was too cold in the winter."
