"Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the decor good and interesting pictures. The food in the restaurant was excellent.
The only negative from my husband was that there wasn't a shaver socket in the bathroom."

"Nice staff. But walls peeling in bathroom, door entry into room has huge gap underneath so you can hear everything in and out of the room. Flies buzzing around, bins being emptied at 8am next to our room. Mould in bathroom"

"Great landlord - welcoming and super friendly. Superb range of real ales and an awesome full English breakfast.
Room was comfortable, fairly spacious (we had the triple) and clean. Broom was a little compact and basic.
Overall a good friendly pub with basic but good facilities. "

"Not great for the money, spend another 20 quid and get a better room somewhere else.
1 towel No shampoo or soap and no heat as it was shut off.
Breakfast was a few biscuits, a wrapped croissant and a couple of boxes of cereal, meh at best. "
