The check-in procedures were more comprehensive than those at other motels and hostels I have booked.While intended to prevent abuse in booking-related transacations as well as minimize the incidence of abuse of the rental property, the execution of these validation aspects seemed prolonged compared to vendors; I felt that a suitably welcoming demeanor by staff as well as visual indicators of hospitality and an interest to accomodate a client would have made me feel more valued.

I wish the listing of this property had pictures of the back building which contains another 12 units (including where I stayed), it was not as nice as what was pictured on the Expedia site which I was expecting. Had I seen the photos of where I stayed, I probably wouldn't have booked. While the core areas appear clean (bed, shower & toilet, towels), the room held a lingering smell of what I would guess as mildew and urine (in the bathroom). Because of this, I tried not to spend too much time in the unit altogether unless I had to (ie. a place to get some shut eye). Staff is friendly, and I got the overall impression that they were doing their best to maintain things as clean as possible on a tight budget.

The property was under construction and the room was also under construction. Rough cut plywood bed and side table unpainted. Unprotected electricals. Floor a slippery wall tile. Mold under the sink. A terrible experience

I liked the area. Convenient for shopping and eating. The door lock could be broken easily when leaving the room. Filthy window and windows didn't lock. Anyone could come in through the window

Perfect for single nights stay, only 6-7 minutes away from McMaster university which was great. Very clean room. Park near your room. Highly recommend if you are travelling and need a temporary room to stay at with affordable prices
