Solid business hotel

This is a very strong hotel if you are in town for a couple of days and need a reliable and comfy business hotel. It doesn't have a lot of thrills but the room was big enough, the wifi was good and the bathroom was clean. The hotel doesn't really have any relaxation ammenities but the sister hotel (crowne plaza) has a pool which you can use (you have to pay) and a good lounge bar. The location is ok as it is right next to a main road but there is not a lot in the surrounding area to the hotel.

Good hotel, helpful staff but wrong location

Helpful staff, good amenities including a laundromat but located in the middle of nowhere. Takes a lot of time to reach anywhere by taxi due to heavy traffic on the roads. Subway network not yet in place in full and no station is close by but connected by buses which have a good network but are always crowded. Lot of good eating joints are available nearby which is a plus point. However main tourist attraction area namely west lake is far away. It is better to stay at a place close to the West Lake.

地点一般, 酒店还可以

酒店的地理位置一般，在上塘路高架下面。地面停车平时都停不到，总是要开到地下去。但因为没有直通宾馆的电梯，所以人也要从车库的出入口走上去，觉得不是很安全和方便。宾馆周围没有什么吃的地方。酒店本身还可以，房间比较干净，空调淋浴都蛮好。服务方面，到了晚上如果需要什么一般都要自己去取，这个不太方便。早饭一般，内容不算多。

每次去杭州出差一定會選擇的住宿的飯店，飯店的服務不錯，浴室也很乾淨

飯店整體上的都很不錯，且有無線網路相當的方便。我因為是商務出差，所以廠商來接就比較沒考慮交通的問題。但就個人旅行上因為距離西湖有點遠，且打車很不方便，因此這必須是訂房前所考慮的原因之一。

very bad experience with the staff and manager

We booked a room through Expedia the day before our arrival at this hotel and the staff at the reception received us telling us in bad English and with absolutely no manners: “you booked for yesterday and not today”. When we showed them the Expedia confirmation they said that Expedia send them the wrong dates and showed us a Holiday Inn form (all our information was wrong ex. email address in the "name" box, my name in the credit card type! I assume they probably confused the day of the booking with the day of arrival). They also told us that we should have done the payment to them directly and not to expedia! (seems that they have no idea of what they are talking about). After arguing 40 minutes they finally called the manager (from the adjacent hotel, don’t ask me why). The manager told us that we have to call expedia because “this is not the hotel's fault”. After 30 minutes he finally made a call and solved the problem but told us that next time we should check the booking with Expedia before coming to the hotel. Also, when we asked them to call us a taxi the following day they told us to go to the adjacent hotel and ask for a taxi from there.

平價但遠離中心

所有都好，但位置不佳，城站到酒店打的士要二十多元，去西湖都要二十多元，不是太好找

If you are on a tight budget.......

Maybe it would have been better if WI-FI worked! (Better to take your own ethernet - wi-fi access point.) Not up to the standards of a US holiday inn express, but cast from the same mold. Lobby area is functional, but not inviting place to sit. The rooms are fine, though beginning to fray around the edges. It can be a little noisy as it is situated along the elevated road. It is on the same property as the Crowne Plaza, but at 1/3 the price, or so it was when I was there, it is a passable option if you are on a tight budget and need to be in this out of the way part of town. Front Desk staff speaks English sufficiently well.

超穴場！B級グルメの旅

交通の便が大変よく、B級グルメを楽しみながら地元の様子を垣間見ることができました。外国人が滞在しても安全なのでお勧めです。ただ朝ごはんがもっと美味しければ文句なしなんですけど・・・。

The team of the holiday inn had been wonderful : very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. Also, we had a diner to the crowne plaza (next to the holiday inn) : it was very convenient, the buffet was great and the staff too. The only inconvenient is the fact that a nightclub is situated close to the hotel: we could heard the sound from our room. It was hard to fall in sleep ...

This is definitely a value for money hotel. Room is spacious, clean, bed is very comfortable and the breakfast spread is not too bad, considering it as a low budget hotel.

It's worth it

price: comparably cheaper breakfast: good internet: fast but network connection point not good, wireless signal weak and cannot connect via it. transport: difficult to find taxi on May 1st holiday period, not sure in non-holiday period, there is bus K82 to the lake side. overall: t's worth it

No gym, no pool

Don't get mislead by info here. There is no gym and no swimming pool at this hotel. You can use the next door hotel's but pay 180 RMB or so for one time use :)

It definitely is worth of your money!

I'd like to commend the staff for excellent service. Front liners speak good English, very helpful and always ready to attend to inquiries. The room (twin bed) that we occupied was quite spacious, a lot of room to move around and with excellent facilities you'll need. Beds are very comfortable. Buffet breakfasts were okay: choices of Chinese (e.g. fried rice, boiled eggs, choices of vegies) and western (e.g. toast/butter/jams; ham/egg; cereals; coffee/milk.) The hotel is a bit far from West Lake area, but we don't mind. It takes only about 15 minutes by taxi and about 30 minutes by bus. However, public bus K-12 stops near the hotel and goes to West Lake area, where you can take other buses to go to the temples or other tourist spots around West lake. The only thing that we're a bit disappointed with was the Wi-fi... it doesn't work or too slow! There was only one internet cable from the port to one of our laptops. The good thing is, computers are available on the ground floor that customers can use for free. :) So, my friend can't complain anymore. :) Overall, we have a pleasant stay and definitely recommend this hotel to those who don't mind the distance (from West Lake area.)

Holiday Inn in Hangzhou - Value for money

Hotel is clean and neat. In addition, there is free wifi available plus free breakfast for two. No additional cost if there are 3 persons as there is a sofa bed available. Soap, towels, toothbrush etc are all there. Really good value for money. Only problem we had is that is it a bit off from main attraction of Xihu. Otherwise, good place to stay at affordable rates.

Prima hotel

Er wordt geen engels gesproken aan de balie, dat is lastig. Verder is de kamer prima. Fijn bed. Stukje van centrum af, 15 min met taxi. Let op, er zijn twee Holiday Inn hotels in Hangzhou.
