Princess Grand Jamaica Resort - All Inclusive

"The Hotel was very nice and clean and really big. Food was really good. Our families really enjoyed our stay. We just really had a very up and down with the Quality of the staff some were very nice and attentive but majority of the staff members just seemed very lazy. I always tip generously, but no matter how much we tipped them, the service didn’t get any better. Poolside drinks took like 30 min to show up, and I would tip them 5 dollars when giving the order and 5 dollars after they brought the drinks everytime, but yet they would always forget half the drinks we ordered and disappear for another 40min until we can ask them to bring the drinks they forgot the first time. The beach was very rocky and you definitely need water shoes to get passed the rocks then it’s ok. Overall we did have a good time and it was a great hotel. But I don’t think I would stay here next time."

"The vacation experience was wonderful - good food, friendly staff and overall good service. The only two negatives for me would be the „Sports Bar“ - the day we went, the food was terrible, and the lights went out! We couldn‘t eat the food, it was like they took frozen food and dropped it in the air-fryer and served it. Don‘t recommend eating there. Otherwise, the other restaurants, Mo-Bay, Blue Lagoon & Poseidon had good food, variety of choices and we stuck with those. Had I stayed longer I would have tried the Mexican, Italian and Asian restaurants. There are 10 choices on the complex so you are bound to find something you can enjoy to eat. The rooms are clean, well-kept and spacious. The only other draw back is for our return back to airport we ended up with „Destination Services“ as the 3rd party transportation and the rep (either Hyacyinth/Samantha) she did not identify herself and she was rude and wasted 3 hours of my vacation trying to get a „confirmation date“ for our return when everyone on the grounds (Including Expedia) knew when we were scheduled to leave. This was a stressful time for me and my anxiety level increased which caused me distress as we had a flight out the next day. When attempting to contact them via phone/what‘s app they weren‘t responsive and told us they were in meetings (for 3 hours). Eventually after contacting Expedia, we were passed off to another 3rd Party Holiday Services transport which was a better experience. Don‘t use Destination!"
