"The room was so small, and window was facing lots of pipes and noise was terrible Two people could not walk the room at the same time. Storage / wardrobe hanging the cloths was limited as there was a safe below, complained but they could only offer a room the same size, in the end we left a day early because we could not deal with another night"

"The first room we were given smelt terrible, largely because of the stains on the carpet where someone had been sick. Second room was slightly better but still had a strange smell from the dirty carpet. Room was incredibly dull and depressing, very outdated with a cheap plastic shower pod, faded furniture, peeling laminate and limited facilities. The only good points about the stay were the central location and a good breakfast. Not cheap and not cheerful."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Crown which is perfectly situated on the edge of the town centre, but still remarkably quiet even on the Saturday night. The room was very nicely decorated with a very clean and well appointed ensuite shower room. We did not eat in the hotel apart from breakfast but the menu looked good. Highly recommended"
