"So, I'm not sure from the pics if what we were expecting was exactly what we got. It is a much older hotel that has been refurbished. The rooms are really small. We didn't get to use the little sitting area in front of our windows because we had to have somewhere to put our suitcases. Some things they've updated very nicely. Other things like the wall heater, the window shutters, some of the bathroom hardware really showed the age. BOTH our lamps in the room were broken. One shorting out which makes you nervous of a fire... There was NO TV service at all. Streaming or otherwise because the internet couldn't handle the amount of people using it. They offer a free breakfast but only deliver to your room by selecting a specific 30-minute window of time and then highlight that tips are appreciated. First, I have no idea what time I will be up and since I'm on vacation - I'm not going to set an alarm to wake up in time for delivery. To each their own. Second, if you offer a free breakfast with my stay, I shouldn't feel pressured to tip to get it. I likely would anyway, but I feel like guests should be aware. Good - somewhat oceanview from our room which was what I selected. I liked that the room offered a ceiling fan. The staff was really nice. They offered a cleaning solution for your windows being next to the ocean. The bed slept well. Great water pressure and warm water. Loved the little seating area outside to watch the sunrise/ sunset... Wouldn't stay here again though."

"I cannot say enough about this location, the staff, and the room. First and foremost, the staff went beyond the call of duty with letting us check in ahead of schedule time. Then when we needed some emergency amenities, without hesitation, we got more than we asked for and are grateful for it. The room was an ocean view and even if it says partial view, take it. Well worth it. Plus this was an incredibly affordable hotel just across the street from the ocean. And short walking distances from mom and pop restaurants. Depending on the forecast, you can get out of bed and be on the beach in less than a 5 minute walk. Will return and highly recommend."

"We were super delighted with our stay here. We got an ocean view and it was just fascinating. We were on the bottom floor and walked out to a patio with tables and chairs just for us facing the ocean and then there was a wonderful grassy area past that and then a walkway down to the sand and then the water. Everything was clean and neat and utterly and manicured in our room. We had a fireplace and too comfy chairs that could be turned either towards the ocean or the fireplace. And there were also fire pits outside, so we stayed out there into the evening and they brought firewood for us! There wasn’t one thing we could complain about. The refrigerator was stocked with things you could purchase from wine to candy bars. We will definitely be back."
