Our inkeepers were so great, made us feel welcome and cared for. The location was awesome, near the Cave Hill Brewery, several nice restaurants, and a spa close by. we were close to skiing, and overlooking Massanutten resort. The Inn was perfect, clean and cozy. Thank you
Beautifully decorated and furnished. Bridal room canopy bed is gorgeous, and we loved the Jacuzzi tub and fireplace. Great old photos and historical information. Inn is located on a quiet pretty farm road.
The women running the B&B were really nice and welcoming. The rooms were decorated in history and the furnishings were very comfortable. Would visit again!

Check in was good. Room was clean and comfortable. Noticed lots of dust buildup on the return air vent that should be tended to. The breakfast was not that good. Scrambled eggs were cold. Small, overcooked dry piece of ham and a warmed up bagel that wasn’t sliced. Berries served with the meal were delicious. The girl serving us breakfast was not very personable and seemed like she didn’t want to be there. The grounds outside need a lot of work, especially with trimming shrubs, etc. First impressions are everything, and noticed all of the walkway lights that were either broken, falling over, or completely laying on the ground. Beautiful home overall but the work outside around the house would go a long way.

Liked: Cleanliness
Everything was clean. Fortunately, we were greeted at check-in. That said, no one was responsive to our needs after calling two different phone numbers (until we had left the premises). The coffee & tea were not available due to a blown fuse. Since we wanted to leave earlier than 10am (breakfast served only at 9am), we did not receive breakfast. Accommodations for our needs were not made.
This is a beautiful house and somebody spent a lot of love and attention on the decor. It's the small things that mean this wasn't a really outstanding stay - a little bit of dust in the bedroom corners, the filtered water that wasn't refilled overnight, the unripe mango in the breakfast fruit. Nothing that would stop me going back.
Nice stay. The rooms were very clean along with the bathroom. Easy entry and responsive host when we arrived later than planned. About the only thing that can improve is the food service.
This was a nice home constructed originally in the 1800s. It’s been kept up nicely and established as a bed and breakfast in 2009, I think. The caretaker was extremely nice, polite and a great cook! It’s in a good location with a lot to see and do around it. We look forward to visiting here again!
I really appreciate Rachel who welcomed me and made sure to know what time I was coming in to accommodate me. The room, house, and area were so beautiful. The breakfast was stellar as well, and I was able to take some food to go. Rachel was more than welcoming and was great to have conversation with. My bed was so comfortable & the gold room was gorgeous.

I liked the place and location. The owners never were around, we would have liked to been able to meet them briefly. The landscape hadn’t been card for in a while. The room was wonderful and felt like a step back in time some. The breakfasts were excellent and filling.
Great home made foods, homely environment. Lisa, the owner gave us the bridal next to porch room for us as we were their for our anniversary celebration. Everyone is very friendly, helpful, informative and responsive. Great stay for peaceful, quiet, far from noises. I enjoyed farm feel, cows, it took me back to my childhood memory when i used to visit my grandmother/grand father house. I will recommend everyone to stay at their place. Great for couples, old and young couples, kids....thanks everyone for making our stay comfortable.
Lovely! Enjoyed the history of the beautiful house, antiques throughout quiet county side. Lisa was an excellent hostess and served a wonderful breakfast. Saw the 4 th of July Massanutten fireworks from the site. Hope to be able to return!
We had the best time of our mini trip at this property. I loved every bit of the house, its history and the antique collection. Hospitality is very commendable and the breakfast so English and tasty. Lisa was very sweet and generous to suggest us the local places to visit. We would definitely be back next year.
