"The location of abbey lodge was great, only a few minutes walk into town. Handy for restaurants and shopping. It was a short drive to get to the rural areas which we enjoyed walking. We booked a twin room which was much bigger than the doubles we saw.

"Good value for money if you want a no-frills stay. The beds are quite comfy, there's a small TV and tea/coffee in the room. The shared bathroom is okay. It's a little way out of High Wycombe area but there isn't much else available at this price"

"As we arrived late we had to do the auto check in via the lodge keypad, they keypad didn’t quite work for us as expected but the staff on site soon came to our rescue.
