"This property is unique, it is a very old property with all mod cons and some contemporary styling. Loved the facilities and I am a lover of lots of milk in my strong tea, I always have to ask for extra milk … not here, extras for all your tea and coffee making was on the landing. The room itself and the beds were comfortable, we travelled as a family of three with me and my husband in a double and our little one on a put me up. "This was like staying with friends for a smart weekend in the country. Ann gave us a guided tour, and later showed me round her hi-tech greenhouse when I expressed an interest. The house and garden are fabulous, our room was huge and elegant with a big comfortable bed and a walk-in rainfall shower. There was a lounge room and patio we could use, where you could watch interesting bird species on the feeders. Breakfasts are performance art - Ann and Martin make a big thing of choices in every...

"Carol and Ceri looked after us very well, beginning with their greeting us at the front door on our arrival. The bed was comfortable and all room facilities excellent (lovely soft towels), except that the bedside lights are not bright enough for old eyes to read by. Breakfasts, prepared by Ceri, were top class; we really looked forward to coming downstairs each morning at 8.30. It was good to be made to feel part of the family, especially as we were able to chat to other guests at the breakfast...
