This is a good choice for short stays, 1-2 days. The rooms and property are well-kept and the people are very nice. Still, you won't get room care unless you ask daily or whenever needed. The tiny refrigerator in the room only works on 2-hour cycles which you must repeat. It does not keep things cold overnight. The breakfast and beyond is basically an under-served Starbucks which is often out of items. There are a few reasonable places to eat within walking distance.

The hotel was good. The main issue I had was in the bathroom. Toilet constantly running the entire night, shower head was dirty or just really old- not coning out straight and seemed broken. Bathroom sink drain wouldn't reopen after being closed. Stains on chair. overall it was fine- rest of the room was clean the love the area.

The hotel was actually built on farmland formerly belonging to a family member. (Small patch of adjacent land still has cows ;-) The area has plenty of amenities and the hotel is clean and comfortable with lovely staff. Wild to see the transformation from rural to suburban. Great safe stop between Waterbury and Hartford. Easy on and off the interstate.

Front desk was unprofessional using a lot of words like beautiful and lovelies. I’m a business owner and that is strictly frowned upon. Also front desk man the next morning had no clue what planet he woke up on. He didn’t know how to check me out then didn’t know how to ring in the water I bought so he asked “how much do you have” and said just to pay that. How much do I have? I have hundreds. How disrespectful to have me pay that way I bet he pocketed it . also bar was said to stay open til 1 but closed at 10. Good news is we did get one drink and the beds were comfy and there’s a very luxurious spacious vibe to the room so we had a blast!

I booked the suite for preparation for me to get ready the day of my wedding and it was very spacious for the makeup artist, hair dresser, and my bridal party to sit comfortably. The hotel itself is beautiful as well and the view outside our window was stunning with occasional cows grazing
