"The first room we were put in was stinky, stains everywhere--on the floor, on the cloth covered bench, the bedspreads, the bedsheets. Horrible. We asked to change rooms, and it was better in the bedroom, but the bathroom was semi dirty. We survived the night, but will NEVER stay here again."

"The rooms was very clean, but did see 2 roaches in our bathroom! The guys at the hotel was very nice, the younger lady was lil rude! They ended up letting us swim in the pool !! Bed lil hard, pillows was flat !!!"

"Property was well cleaned and staff was very supportive. Breakfast was good. Some area of improvement is Lift which is very old and close early. Also it will be good if items have name listed for breakfast so it will be easy for vegetarian to select. I will definitely plan to stay again if plan to go Maggie valley next time."

"Things that were spot on: The use of the pool; convenient parking; gardens and meditative space; 24/7 hot water for tea and AM coffee for coffee drinkers; nearby restaurants; lots of towels and pillows so no need to clean room daily for shorter stay guests; walking trails; entry by the east entrance; wildlife & bird song; the historic cross. Things to improve upon; the hallways have a bad odor or an odd Christmas potpourri fragrance wafting about; staff did not seem to be able to answer...
