"Surprisingly quiet next to a busy highway"

"My family stayed for one night while we were in Pittsburgh for a concert. We were able to park close to the entry, which was convenient. Check in was quick and easy and the staff were friendly. The room was reasonably clean, though showed some minor signs of wear/age. The bath products were lovely, with a gentle, pleasant scent that didn’t feel overpowering. We enjoyed a quiet stay and had the breakfast in the morning, which was decent. I would stay here again."

"I loved my stay here. It was only one night, but I will absolutely stay there again if I’m in the area. The room was basic, but cute and incredibly clean. I honestly think this was the cleanest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. The bathroom as well, and there is almost always something icky in any hotel bathroom. The bed? Oh my gosh - SO comfortable. "According to their website, they charge $15/night for the pet fee, but they actually charge by the weight of the dog, which in my case was $30/night for a 63 lb dog. There is also not much space to walk your dog. The breakfast was coffee and pre-packaged sugary treats, like powdered doughnuts."

"The hotel was really nice and the view superb! I enjoyed the view of the river. However, the hotel is connected to the casino and you can smell the cigarette smoke from the unloading lanes. The rooms however do not smell like cigarettes! You can only smell it from the elevator. I appreciated that valet was complimentary and there was a Continental breakfast! I would give the hotel and stay experience a 8.7 out of 10. I hate the smell of cigars and cigarettes. I wish they would have made that...

"Faucet handle came off with first use. Tried putting it back on. Water would not stop running, called staff and they couldn’t fix it so they just turned the water off to the faucet and was told to use the water out of the tub to wash hands. AC did not work. Hotel seemed to be rundown. No microwave or no mini fridge in the room. Highly do not recommend."

"I enjoyed my stay at the courtyard downtown Pittsburgh, my choice of accommodations while touring the local art museums and also riding my bicycle on the waterfront trails. I plan to return later this year."

"The only two possible good things about this place is d at the front desk and Mark in maintenance. The floors were sticky, our TV was broken, the bed was lumpy and lopsided, the waitress didn't show up for breakfast so all that was offered when paying for breakfast was muffins, luckily Dee was amazing and she made things right with us. The parking situation is complicated there was no valet when we arrived so we sat in our car for 10 minutes wondering what we needed to do, will definitely never...

"This property could use some updates and maintenance, such as bathroom door as my room had what looked like water blister in the wood, shredded curtains and curtain hooks broken. The bed felt like the mattress needed replaced. Bed skirt needed replaced/updated."

"This is a great hotel, located in the center of Pittsburgh. We booked a suite and the rooms were so spacious. We were amazed to discover their "Kickback" from 5:30-7, basically dinner (there was pasta, sliced chicken, cooked veggies, and a creamy tomato sauce, plus fixings for nachos and a spinach salad, along with drinks) included with our stay.
