"An ideal place to stay. Our only contact with staff was during check-in and it was quick and friendly. Well-stocked grocery store just down the street. "

"We stayed for 1 night only in early October. The 2 bedroom apartment was excellent. The bathrooms and kitchen were very clean and tidy, as was the lounge area. There was ample parking in the basement area. The walk to the township of Paihia was along the sea-shore and was very pleasant, and close to the ferry terminal where we caught the ferry to Russell."

"This is such a lovely retreat, all credit to manager Kelly and her family. She went out of her way to make us feel welcome and it was much appreciated. The refurbished rooms were nice, clean and warm and the private shower was awesome. We had an awesome time and were lucky to see two kiwi on the grass near the bush even though it was raining, and we heard lots more. It was really magical!"

"Staff were fantastic and accommodated my needs. Room was clean and comfortable, perfect for a few days solo travelling, short 10min walks to access Paihia's pier and shopping area."

"I got very sick the evening before I checked out. The front desk gave me an extra hour in the room and I was able to rest in the pool area for 4 hours before I was due to leave for the airport. I had a tour booked that day but there was no way I could have done it. Having a place to stay put was immensely helpful. "
