"Shower(water pressure and temp) was good. A/C in room was great. Breakfast was decent (minimal but sufficient) for the price of room. There was a mini fridge and microwave in the room which was a bonus. One elevator was out the first day, but then fixed (1 elevator running throughout stay). The pool was out of service for the 3 days I stayed. Parking was not an issue; though a lot of contract type workers were parked, none were taking up extra space with trailers or equipment- I never had an issue finding a spot.
It's close (walkable) to Whataburger, Taco Bell, Braum's and Chicken Express. There's a gas station in the next lot over. There's a small United grocery store 5 min away, McDonalds and Sonic nearby. Decent coffee drive thru and donut shop with a few min. Short 10 ish min drive to base. Less than 15 to Wichita Falls.
The front desk ladies were fantastic; all very helpful and sweet. I called to try and extend one more night, they were unfortunately sold out so I chose a different hotel. The gal at the front desk called me a few hours later to offer me a room because she had a guest cancel- very considerate. I appreciate you!
