"Room was spotlessly clean and very spacious. Large,modern bathroom with both bathtub and walk in shower. Food was excellent and staff extremely helpful and friendly. Hotel is in a great location in town centre."

"We had a lovely stay in a comfortable room. We had a nice dinner in the bar which was warm and welcoming. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful and served with a smile. And the beer’s not bad either!"

"I have stopped at this hotel may times, the staff are always very freindly as are the locals,no food being served in hotel at the moment and you have to go across the road to the sister hotel The County for breakfast, not a problem for me as I don't tend to bother with breakfast, there are plenty of eating spot out in Hexham so eating out was no hassle, I always try and stop here when I'm working in Hexham which I do every 3 months. "

"I booked a superior room which was very comfortable and clean. We overlooked the river and had a double aspect room (317). Staff were all very friendly and went out of their way to see that we were happy."
