Out in the middle of nowhere, this hotel is fabulously situated by the lake. I just wish I had had more time to explore. Bar staff friendly, locals friendly, and busier than you might expect. Food was good, although I was too late out to try the breakfast. Rooms are a bit basic, and I was kept awake ...

Room was spotless. Staff were pleasant. Pool and jacuzzi really nice. Great location in Galway city. Bar and lounge areas very nice. Bar food served in adjacent restaurant was ok. Breakfast was really good.
