"I had an apartment with a kitchenette for 1 week at the Esplanade. Since I didn't have a car, it was convenient--only about 3 blocks from the Hauptbahnhof and a couple of blocks from the central pedestrian zone. The property itself was attractive with a pleasant breakfast area and a nice enclosed central courtyard. The staff was also quite friendly and attentive. The sauna was a very nice, unexpected benefit at the end of tiring days. An excellent option in central Dortmund!"
"Stayed for euros. Nice room, amazingly comfortable bed. The bathroom is only seperated by a sliding door which was weird for us.
Super overpriced, however for non euro trips may be a good choice if it is economical. Close to metro, not near much else."

Recently modernised the rooms were comfortable and clean. Staff were all helpful and friendly and a special shout out to Anna on reception who went above-and-beyond in being so helpful."
