"Great hotel to stay when visiting Helsinki. Tram 4 stops directly outside the hotel so getting around the city is really easy. Hotel staff were plesent and the hotel is quite quirky as it was an old prison. Rooms very good standard and of a fair size for a stay. Great choise for breakfast and if you want to use it evening meal untill 2000 included. Soup and 1choise of main but plenty of other items to choose from. Overall an excellent hotel and we really enjoyed our stay"

"Great facilities and studio apartment was nice. Kids bunk room was very small as in it only fit the bunks inside it and it was a bit tricky to do the after hours check in late at night when we were very tired and there was no staff. Would recommend arriving when there is staff at the office. "

"Renovation was going on while we were there. Our room had serious electrical problems (sparks coming from outlets, being shocked, lights getting dim and bright). We ended up changing rooms twice in the middle of the night. No compensation was given."

"One of our favorite stays! Thoughtful interior design, truly friendly staff, clean throughout, and the breakfast was plentiful, fresh, and delicious! The location is superb—close to museums and gr wet shopping, but still in a quiet neighborhood. Highly recommend and will certainly be staying here again!"
