"This Hotel is close to the highway without any road noise which makes it very convenient and easy to access. Very clean and well appointed. Breakfast options are really nice and varied. This hotel felt new. There was none of the minor wear and tear you can find in a lot of hotels. The staff were very helpful. I had a billing crossover between Expedia and the hotel and when I called they rectified it immediately and I saw the correction on my credit card statement almost as soon as I hung up the phone. Excellent customer service!!"

"The staff was amazing! The property stated that there was a bar, lounge and restaurant on site and there were NONE OF THESE ON SITE! I would have picked another property if the description was accurate of the property and the pictures were updated. Not as NEW as it looks in the pictures on line. Have to walk outside to get to the pool area as well. We actually left a day early and stayed at another hotel that was just as amazing as the description! "

"Clean room nice staff. No breakfast which is fine with me most hotels serve the same crappy unhealthy foods for breakfast. They had local coffee which was good. Restaurant in same parking lot. Overall for one night is was perfect for me"

"Liked the classic 1900's style of the building, lobby, woodwork and furniture. Great location, steps from Lake Superior. Can have drinks and great food on the patio overlooking the lake. Breakfast was well above average. Our standard room wasn't special, but adequate. AC unit and refrig were both noisier than typical. Good cleanliness throughout the hotel. Ashland is a lovely little city. Bike and pedestrian friendly, walking paths and parks along the lake, history, murals, lots to do."

"There were a lot of kids this time. We usually enjoy using the pool and hot tub, but skipped it. They have extended their hours to 11pm though. We usually bring a couple of beers to the hot tub. Next time. The staff is always great here. Breakfast was busy, as expected with so many kids, we just picked some things up and brought to our room and staff was completely ok with that."

"I really liked the look of cabins, the mirror in the bathroom was superior. The outdoor games were fun, and from what we could hear the 'name that tune' happening in the bar downstairs sounded very good. Would had been nice to have a freezer compartment in the fridge, but we lived. The music playing outside as we walked in was very nice, and the complimentary lotion smelt good 😊. Very convenient parking. We liked the lighting around the bedframe. Could have used some English breakfast teabags though."
