The food was excellent and the dining room service was excellent…..evening meal and breakfast. The views were incredible, the location was beautiful. "This is a very charming place situated right in the center of “Darrowby”. The inn has a beautiful garden and the breakfast is tasty and well done. The innkeeper Lynn was the best example of hospitality we have ever had, coming to the rescue when our rental car had a flat tire in a remote area. She really embodies the reputation of how lovely the people are in the Yorkshire Dales, and took extra care to make sure our car troubles didn’t ruin the vacation."

"Booked for a wedding but on the morning of the wedding there was no hot water to get a shave or shower but what made it worse was that there was no communication from the staff and no apology offered or compensation from management"
