"Excellent room and central location in Hexham and convenient for exploring Hadrian’s Wall etc. great breakfast and very helpful staff. Would definitely stay again if we were in the area."

"The castle is absolutely gorgeous. I stayed in one of the rooms in the outbuilding in the grounds, surrounded by peacocks, and it was lovely to walk across the lawn in the rain in the early morning for breakfast in the castle restaurant. The drawing room is incredible, with a great bar and genuinely spectacular places to sit in medieval window seats and beautiful couches. The staff are all wonderful.
The rooms in the outbuilding are grand, but a lot of the fixtures are getting a bit run down....

"Comfortable/clean room with a great view. Hotel staff were helpful and friendly. Great location close to the train station and central Hexham. The pub downstairs had good beer as well."

"The location on the corner of a quiet road junction was convenient, the staff free check in / out was sensible and progressive consistent with all relevant information gathered during booking.
Street parking was ample and the room clean - if a little small for the furniture present.
The bed was clean, soft and had enough bedding.
