"The hotel experience was awesome and the staff could not have been nicer. Beautiful lobby with garden view and appreciated the welcome drink from the bar.
The room was spacious with a lovely bathroom. Decoration was truly Japanese, with tatami mats and sliding doors. The room provided appropriate clothing for the onsens…yukata, obi, sandals etc. The onsen was modern, spotless and spacious, with both inside and outdoors areas, the later made of large rocks.
The shuttle service to other onsen areas and to and from the train station was an added plus."
"We had the supreme Japanese room and it was spacious. Two large rooms for a large family or more space for two people. There were two bathrooms and a shower. The bed mattresses were on the floor and they were comfortable. It felt like staying at a traditional ryokan with modern amenities. Breakfast was traditional Japanese too and it was tasty and filling. The staff is always there to help and they are very polite. I’d definitely stay there again."
"This was one of the most unique and special hotel experiences had. It was a traditional Ryocan experience with mats on the floor which were ok for comfort. I throughly enjoyed the onsite onsen too. 💖👘"
"Prix très élevé mais établissement dont le service est impeccable! Repas inclus très "fancy" comprenant des aliments qui ne plaisent pas à tout le monde. On doit aussi s'attendre à dormir sur un matelas par terre, ce qui n'est pas idéal pour les personnes âgées ou celles dont le sommeil est léger."
"Lovely staff that helped us look up times for trains and buses to Takeda Castle Ruins. As well as helped us getting a taxi because apparently there’s only one out there 😅
It’s a 20 min walk on flat ground from the Wadayama station so be ready for that.
Also the taxi from the hotel to Takeda Station was around 2800 yen just fyi"
