Incredible hospitality and beautiful place to stay. Very relaxing and lovely decor. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Suite Lanka is such a lovely place. We stayed for 11 days so longer than most and throughout our stay the staff didn’t put a foot wrong. This is what makes this place special. If you want an ultra modern bland hotel then this is definitely Not your place. Our rooms ( pool suite and adjoining room) were comfortable and spacious, with good air con and beautiful bathrooms. We had an amazing stay at hotel Dormero. The hotels right in front of the beach which made it very convenient for us to go around swimming and other beach activities which were nearby. The room itself was kept spotless with daily housekeeping. The staff were very nice and polite. We even had the opportunity to celebrate new years with the staff and eat amazing food. Thank you for a lovely stay. Would recommend.

A nice hidden spot near the railway station with fleeting views of the beach, friendly staff and access to the gym next door. It’s a reasonable walk to Turtle Bay, but the main restaurants/bars are approximately 15 min walk away. BUT, a Tuktuk is like £1 (GBP) so very reasonable. A great stay overall.

What a find! This place is a newly opened small boutique guest house built in Colonial style that has everything you could wish for during your stay in Hikkaduwa. Peter, the owner, is a man many years in the hospitality trade who is incredibly welcoming and hospitable, going out of his way to ensure his guests are happy and comfortable at all times. The rooms are minimally furnished, but have everything you want and there is also access to a common lounge/dining area for further relaxation...

We spent six nights at the Asian Jewel and found it a wonderfully restful place to stay, with lovely gardens and a small clean swimming pool. We had the “Kingfisher” room which allowed wonderful views of the lagoon from the really large balcony. The restaurant offers really excellent Sri Lankan and western food. Located just off the main street, about a 5 minute walk. Rooms are nice and clean, albeit a bit small. Very good service, Villa staff will go out of their way to ensure you have a pleasant stay. Would recommend.

Stunning hotel with exceptional hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay and very highly recommend the hotel.

Do try the Sri Lankan breakfast that you have to order the day before - really good food..

This property is in an excellent position, 5mins to Hikkaduwa by tuk tuk and 40mins by bus to Galle. It is away from all tourism, quiet and relaxing. The locals in the area are very friendly and always say Hello, Good Morning when they see you or just give you a wave. It has much to do nearby and the beautiful private beach is only 5mins away.

Clean hotel, breakfast was ok not a lot of choice other than local food, no laundry service but options available outside in Hikkaduwa. Pool area is compact.

We have just returned from a two week stay at this little paradise and can honestly say we loved every second. The villa has everything that you could need, it is safe, well designed, comfortable and clean with a gorgeous outside area that backs directly onto an unspoilt quiet part of the beach.
