"Great location, clean and tidy. No safe in the room! (Not sure how this would go down with travel insurance if you had items stolen. Unlikely in Japan, but not impossible) Shower over bathtub is not as good as many of the newer hotels walk in showers. It’s easy to get to on the tram from the train station, just be aware if it is any kind of holiday or festival, the tram will be rammed and you will have to wait a long time for it. Made worse if you have luggage. So get a taxi if that’s the case."

"Our tatami room was incredibly dirty, dusty and bathroom wS leaking n smelly. Bathroom near dining room, water leaked around the toulet when flushed. Sests stuck to dining room floors because floors were vrimy n sticky. When i showed the staff at the front desk, pictures of the grimy tib, they only apologizedand said the hotel is old. We have stayed in 400 yo lodgings in narita, rome and venice that were clean! I wish i could show u puctures that i took! "
