"The property had great character. It’s a very old building and therefore access would be difficult if you’re unsteady on your feet. Taxis won’t drive down to the front of the guest house so we had to pull our suitcases up the cobbled hill to the Main Street. Staff were excellent. Great communication and helped us book a taxi and staff called us to check it had arrived and we were ok. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. There were free hot drinks and a kitchen if you would like to cook. Guest house is in a very good location near the museum and fortress. Suggested room for improvement - some of the plugs were coming off the wall. No plugs near the dressing table mirror."

"Breakfast was awesome--very large buffet of excellent choices. Front desk staff and breakfast staff were very helpful and friendly, with front desk giving tourist info and speaking fluent English. Two downsides: the bathroom, as mentioned in other reviews, is quirky. The shower is on the wall above the toilet, with no shower curtain or shower enclosure. It's a tiny bathroom that IS the shower enclosure. It works, but it's weird. The other downside, which we knew going in, was that it's a bit of a walk to the downtown. Meaning half an hour of walking very steep and long downhill, and then steep and long uphill. Just the nature of the geography. The hotel is great, the scenery is beautiful! We would stay again."

"Just you average 1 star facility. There is free parking, but it's difficult to find it. It is what you would expect from a 1 star. It's clean, cheap and convenient."
