"The hotel was clean and the staff were polite. The only downside was that everything cost money. For example, you have to pay for slippers that are provided free of charge everywhere. It was a bit far from the city center and after 7 pm, the area was completely silent and nowhere was open. I do not recommend this hotel for smokers."

"Nice hotel… sort of strange layout where the entrance to the room was at an angle with a large drop. If you are a plus sized person you should know the entrance to the shower and the shower itself is quite small. I’m a 2X and getting into the shower was… let’s say more exfoliating on my midsection than I’ve experienced before and I doubt anyone larger than me would be able fit at all."

"Lovely hotel in the old town and just steps from the train station, Aare river and all the historic streets. So easy to make day trips and use city transit (free with stay). Our double room was well appointed, spacious and the AC worked well. Staff was very helpful and they also let us store our bags for a few hours after we checked out. "Due to my late arrival and early departure, I did not interact directly with staff, only through messaging. However, they were VERY attentive and super helpful. The room and facility were clean and organized. It’s not the newest place in the world, but is very well kept and quite charming. I had absolutely not complaints.
