"The hotel was lovely. We were given an upgrade when we checked in. The view of the harbor was great. I dropped it to 3 stars as there was no tv service (we were told in any room) except in the bar. They said they were changing provider. Curious that the bar had service but not the rooms."

"Beautiful quiet setting. The views were amazing. Proximity to the black church and Bjarnarfoss waterfall was a bonus. In April, we saw seals outside our window and enjoyed excellent craft cocktails from the bar. I recommend staying here one night and dining at the hotel. Then go explore Snæfellsnes Peninsula and stay in Grundarfjörður next. "

"Clean rooms, friendly staff members and a nicely equipped common room with kitchen. Everything we needed ! Rooms were plain but very comfortable. "

"The location is serene and beautiful. I was welcomed warmly and given a brief tour. There's a restaurant on site that served a 4 course pre-selected menu that was generous, delicious, and comprised of local fresh caught ingredients. Very quiet room with a window to listen to the ocean. Breakfast was cozy the next morning and checkout was very easy. Just past Ytri Tunga, this is a perfect evening stay after exploring the upper peninsula."

"Room was in a decent condition but not exactly comfortable. The couch in the room was little disgusting to sit on. I have stayed in the property 6 or 7 years ago and was in better shape at that time."
