"We stayed at Baymont by Wyndham Cuero and overall had an okay experience for the price.
We arrived very late (around 2 AM), and the staff was attentive and helpful during check-in, which we appreciated after a long day. However, the room type I had originally selected was not available upon arrival, which was a bit disappointing.
The room itself was decent and, most importantly, clean—I didn’t see any bugs. There was some visible water damage on the wall next to the tub, and the coffee maker being placed in the bathroom by the sink was a little unusual.
The beds were comfortable enough for a short stay. One inconvenience we ran into was the side entrance door we used most often—it would get stuck frequently. We also had to get our room keys reset the next day because they stopped working.
We did check out the gym, which was a nice bonus. It had a treadmill, elliptical, bike, and a multi-station machine (lat pulldown, leg curls, etc.), which was enough to get a quick workout in.
Breakfast was decent with a good variety: coffee, juice, eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, a waffle maker, and cereal options.
Overall, for the price, it was acceptable and better than some other places I’ve stayed. Not perfect, but it served its purpose for a short trip."
"Considering the limited choices in this area we have stayed at this hotel several times. This is a safe choice. However - due you diligence and check the sheets or you may share the night with the hairs of the previous guest. Honestly this situation is not uniqure to this property - however - it is still cringe worthy. Look before you leap.....peek before you sleep."
"We had no hot water in the sink or the shower. We were unable to shower during our stay. The mattress was so worn out both people roll to the middle where there is a huge dip."
"We booked 5 rooms. 4 of us had significant issues with the condition of our rooms. The staff was incredibly kind. But the hotel is in need of new housekeeping personnel. And the housekeeper shouldn’t show up to the rooms with her dog, who walked straight into the room. "
