We got a room on the main floor with a terrace and it was very clean and comfortable and spacious! The breakfast options were fantastic and the homemade ice cream and milk from the farm cows was delicious. The staff were very helpful and made checking in and out easy.

Yummy ice cream with a view.

Nice place in a nice area. Only small detail was the shower. The water never really got hot/ warm. Had to take a very quick rinse because of it. Did have a great view of the glacier and yummy ice cream.

This place offers a nice breakfast buffet, yummy homemade ice cream (try the dandelion!) and a small gift shop. There are cows on site so you know your dairy products are fresh. The rooms are clean, modern (with hooks/outlets/bedside lamps for each bed) on a quiet property. This is a wonderful one night spot for your road trip around the island.

This hotel is run like an air bnb. There are signs of what not to do all over the place. This was the worst value of anywhere I stayed in Iceland. The food is limited and experience for what is offered. The rooms are tiny and the bathroom is also tiny and weird. It was clean, quiet and dark. It’s wasn’t cheap and I don’t know why.

Family friendly rooms and lovely service

It’s difficult to find a room in Iceland that allows more than 2 people. We were traveling with our 6 year old, and I was happy to find Brunnholl Guest House. The family rooms were modern and spacious, and I appreciated that each bed had an outlet by it for charging. The view of the glacier from our room was incredible. The breakfast spread was excellent. They make their own ice cream on site, and it was tasty.
