"Great location. Car park close by. Paid 11 pounds for 24 hours. Self check in with key lock. Room 8 up top. view of estuary. Nice Stay. Room not immaculate as paint peeling in places and shower door in wet room seemed to not close as meant to. Breakfast was beeing cleared when we went down 30 mins before end time, but lady was lovely and put it out for us."

"This lovely hotel in is one of the prettiest squares in Wells. We had an outdoor room up a fire escape because we had a dog. The rooms in the pub seemed better. The Restaurant was very small, but the food was good. "

"Beautiful property, decorated and appointed to a high standard. Great spot to retire to after a long day exploring the area. Breakfast was spot on and just what we needed to set us up for the next day's adventures too. "Beautiful rooms, all dog friendly and all have doors out to a lovely courtyard with your own table and chairs. Stayed in the Monroe room and enjoyed the roll top bath! The restaurant and food was awesome, had a great steak one night and a pork tomahawk the other. Bar area very comfortable and drinks menu and cocktails really good. Breakfast was excellent except on monday morning when the restaurant is closed and a continental breakfast arrived at our front door, really missed the cooked options!...

"The Black Lion is a lovely characterful pub with comfortable rooms. We enjoyed our stay very much. The staff were pleasant and the food was delicious. Walsingham is a great place to stay with lots to see and buses running through the village to Fakenham and Wells."

"Amazing accommodation in the Shepherds Hut which we used as our home from home base for the 5 days whilst exploring North Norfolk. "Another really good stay at The Harper. First class service from all the staff where nothing was too much trouble. Private use of the pool works really well and they have clearly thought about everything. The food options are very good and breakfast is excellent. Parking is also ample which is not always the case in North Norfolk and takes the stress out of the holiday especially if you are traveling with children. "

"A beautiful inn! Although the Library room was smaller than expected, it was incredibly cosy and we enjoyed the stay. The restaurant staff are delightful - so friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. We had dinner one of the nights we stayed and it was lovely (as were the free breakfasts). Great location - so close to the coast and perfect for a mini getaway. Would definitely recommend!"

"A truly exceptional find this little gem of a pub hotel in a beautiful location in Norfolk. Stayed in a cabin and it was lovely, clean and well presented, the bed was very comfortable and bathroom well appointed. Staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast options were very good we had the full breakfast which was excellent, the evening meal was delicious, the pies are out of this world. Can’t fault this pub and can’t recommend it enough. Will definitely stay there again. "

At first view the outside area, easy parking and pub seating area were exactly what we had hoped, and the small but perfectly formed room was so clean, well designed and decorated. "Our first stay and we’ll definitely be back, all staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Car park easy to access, breakfast excellent with attentive staff. The bar of an evening has a very inviting atmosphere and Steve the bar manager is a fine host and keeps a super pint of Feathers Best! Accommodation and housekeeping very good. "The converted windmill is very nice looking and well fitted out. Car parking is easy in the private car park. The rooms are lovely and the breakfast well cooked and substantial. The staff are excellent - very helpful and attentive, with good local advice."
