"No elevator. They help you carry your bags up the stairs. The rooms were not clean with broken tiles. No towels, gave us plastic cups with faucet water. Poor"

"We stayed at the Sure Stay Best Western for 3 nights in July 2026. The hotel was clean and the staff were very nice. The hotel is aged and looks dated. The rooms were adequate but the AC is an external unit that can't be left on continuously and the beds are doubles. Further the door lock was finicky but would work after several attempts. The area was quiet and easy to access transit to get downtown. Based on the high hotel prices in Vancouver, the lower cost here was definitely worth it."

"We stayed one night. The hotel and staff were amazing. We had a view of the harbor. We were able to swim in the pool up to 10:00 at night. The check in was easy and the bell staff were so helpful and responsive."
