"This was a unique and fun stay in the heart of Kilkenny, very walkable to all major sites, the castle, Medieval Mile - would recommend! The room was big and spacious, and the bed was comfy! Appreciated the extra rooms to do some office work in."

"Front desk staff helpful. No lift so stairs to rooms but staff did carry luggage. Convenient location, lovely dinner in bar. Close to Irwin’s for drinks and music. Not sure why but we were told not to drink tap water and had to carry water from bar. Very close to Cahir castle."

"We were absolutely thrilled with our stay! This place is magical and delivered on everything that is promised. The estate is beautifully maintained and we felt like royalty when we retired to our suite! Jean's welcome was warm & provided us with a warm cup of tea and cake. Her breakfast the next morning was excellent & her fresh baked scones were out of this world! We look forward to going back."

"The Horse and Jockey was a great place to spend a few nights and have day trips around Ireland. It was really hot when we were there and they brought a fan to our room, that was great. The shampoo and body wash smell amazing! The breakfast was great and the servers were so nice each morning. I would definitely stay there again."
