"What a wonderful place to stay in Sanur. We stayed in the 2 bedroom cottage. It had a kitchen and open air living area. The bedrooms are air conditioned. The 2nd bedroom is upstairs. Wayan and the rest of the staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. There is a beach with many restaurants and bars that is about a 15 minute walk away. i would definitely stay here again."

"The alantara offered Balinese style rooms with comfortable bed. The grounds had a tropical vibe and the pool was generous in proportion with a safe shallow end for small children. The spa treatmemts were great with professional therapists. And the shuttle bus to town centre and beach offered regular schedule."

"Like a couple of other reviewers we cannot understand how this property has any positive feedback. The rooms are big which is great but the furniture and bedding are filthy. The shower is impossible to regulate and is either cold or extremely hot. There is a constant disgusting odour in the bathroom and on our first night we had to shift rooms at midnight due to tiny black bugs in the bed. Breakfast was average at best and we actually felt sorry for the staff who were nice and must have to make...

"If you want a ‘sit by the pool’ resort this is not your hotel, however if, like us, you want to be out all day and want a hotel that is clean in a good location to rest your head - this is perfect. Good location, clean rooms, lovely staff. A wee bit noisy. Fitness centre is small but functional with well maintained equipment. Good room service."

"Cats laying on the dining tables, while people were eating. No cold water in fridge. Expected to fill a plastic bottle with tepid water from a container at reception. The hotel’s decor although clean had seen better days. It was located in the middle of a busy dual carriageway with constant heavy traffic. There was no amenities near by. I checked out after one night and moved to a better hotel in a central location. "

"The villa could have been stunning with a little attention to detail. I feel in its hey day it ewould have been great. The alfresco area and outdoor lounge as well as outdoor shower and bedroom were all really well layed out but unfortunately there has been a lot of water damage in these areas. Its a shame , a coat of paint would be all it needs , the grassed areas were also not maintained with the grass quite long. Our Villa door was really hard to lock (i couldnt , my partner had to )...

"Good location, great adults only pool (not much sun on sunlounges) breakfast is just OK, nothing special. Staff are wonderful. Gym is great, Yoga is advanced and available 7.00 am everyday. Not far to walk to view sunrise. I would stay again."

"Arrived early to check in, room wasn’t ready. Went out for the day, was told we would be contacted when room was ready. Returned at 21:15, still no contact. Was escorted to our room to find out wasn’t the room I had booked ( first floor, instead of pool accessible). Informed reception, no rooms of that standard available, was upgraded to a private pool room, which was nice. The room itself was just ok, nothing special. Went into the bathroom to find a huge cockroach and a couple of geckos....

"Villa with a pool was inviting. Overall the accommodation was ok but in need of some updates. For a 2 bed the fridge was tiny barely get water in it. Beds and pillows comfy. Not so great was the noisy construction everyday it was not tranquil at all. The location on a busy road made it difficult to walk anywhere thank goodness for cheap grabs but they do offer a shuttle service into Senur. Highlights- the staff.
