"The fireplace rooms are straight out of the 70s. That was unexpected. Popcorn ceilings, dated carpet, large room with lots of wasted floorspace and a small gas fireplace in the corner. The fireplace was attached to the thermostat and would come on periodically throughout the night. The blower fan for the fireplace would squeak and wake my partner and I up each time. The main lodge is cute, and has a nice atmosphere, but I feel like they over-sold the fireplace rooms."

"Fireplace did not work. Hot tub ran out of hot water at 1/4 full. Bed could have used more comfortable blankets. A microwave would have been appreciated. Breakfast bar ran out of food by 9am. Side access door did not work. Otherwise it was clean, quiet and comfortable. "

"Yes, the pool temperature was good, Hot Tub temperature was good, pool area very clean with plenty of towels. Room clean and love the electric fireplace heat! Also the loft unit 415 work very nice either 2 King Beds. Breakfast was good but could have bananas as fresh fruit and bacon along with the sausage. "

"We enjoyed the hot tub, it was perfect.Very relaxing time . The bed very comfy. Loved the fireplace and tbe seating area was very cozy."

"Kitchen was fully stocked we had everything we needed the cottage was fatastic pet friendly and such a great place to be by the beach. Parking is safe not alot of traffic . "

"I love this place and I stay here every time I need a motel in the area. The hosts are fabulous and friendly and anxious to please all of their guests. When was the last time a motel proprietor actually came out to greet you when you arrived at a lodging? I prefer family-run motels over big corporate chains where rude people slam their doors at all times of the day and night and children run up and down the halls. The room is always clean and I'm never afraid to touch surfaces wondering if they were really actually wiped down. Enjoy your stay!"
