"I like staying here a few times a year. The staff are fantastic, they are great about storing luggage, there is a pool, it is near a number of places to eat, I always sleep well here. Great beds, big lovely bath tubs, and good tea options. I will always return here. "

"The room was clean and comfortable and staff were great. I believe it is important that guests know that the shower and toilet is separated from the bed with frosted glass. This is not always a comfortable situation to be in as one is too exposed "

"Definately NOT a 5 star hotel. Rooms in massive need of updating, and the spa also. The Spa when we went was very messy, paper cups and peoples slippers/robes on floor scattered about. Looks like in need to some TLC. Visited Bath many a time and far nicer places to stay in my opinion, especially for the price. Building is beautiful, breakfast was as expected, check in fine, staff lovely, location ok 10 min walk into centre - just desperately needs some updating. "

"This property is a little way out of the centre of Bath. It took us about 20 minutes to walk to the Roman Baths and there are some steps/a hill involved so not ideal for anyone elderly or in bad weather unless you're willing to take a cab. It's an OK B&B and I had a comfortable, if slightly tired, room with an ensuite shower. I was able to park my car on the road outside for £10 per day (all of the small spaces on property were full) which is definitely a benefit as parking in town can be expensive. I didn't take the top hotel priced breakfast so can't comment on that. I wouldn't stay here again as I have learned I prefer the centre of town where I can find hotel accommodation at comparable prices right in the middle of the this beautiful city."

"The Black Fox was a great spot conveniently located near all of the attractions that Bath had to offer in walking distance. There was also an amazing bar restaurant in the lobby that made meals so easy. Loved it."

"Amazing stay and breakfast was fantastic (it’s a menu and full English is an option on there). The proximity to all the shops near by is fantastic. The only improvement I would provide is the pillows were lumpy."
